  How to Make a CNC link cable:

  Suppose CNC has 25 pin socket. Pin 7 is 0V. Now first we will decide which pin is... needs 4-5-6-8-20 connection together. Some cases 4 5 6 8 20 has not any connection as Siemens 810, 820 etc.

  The cheap way is that you can buy a multiport(rs232) card. And multi run the same dnc software according your cnc... or VC you can use DDE or multi thread to write a program . Some new software plateform can support another good ways....

  The protocol of hardware and software are the same result.

  As you know when cnc trans a xoff(hex 13) computer has to... change RTS's output voltage level to notice cnc transfer continually. I'm afraid my poor english.Any question can mail....

  1.Do you used hardware protocol or software protocol

  2.protocol and cable have to compatible.

  3.software protocol... ok fanuc system will flash LSK or EDIT as like as cnc system is reading and cnc no alarm.

  First we'd better to how many baudrate and how many feedrate . Normally the problem is caused by rs232 transfering... different baudrate. But market DNC software has not click off display function( it's not turn off power of crt)
