    anyone knows how to translate a graphic file into g code for a cnc lathe to make that part? i'm trying to use inkscape... that's suitable for lathe machining. is there another good graphic program for linux i can use to do this? please help!...

    I got an old Staturn CNC lathe running on EMC2. I've been playing with it for a little bit, now I want to make a chess... it for a little bit, now I want to make a chess pawn, but I'm sure how to write a program to do it, anyone can help me?...
