    Y29F is an output from the controller. If you go to the ladder, search for output Y29F, there will be input conditions,... will have to check in wiring diagram as to what it does. Likely to be an interlock though, or something related to it....

    I agree. Later models have bigger buffer and look ahead functions to smooth out machining. Does your post use multiple... data to do a curve is much better than sending thousands.

    As I said more powerful, late models can cope much better....

    S01 will have a code (up to 4 digits) and then an axis after it.

    example S01 003A X means overcurrent alarm on X... In the above case the most common cause is a bad ballscrew bearing or swarf build up causing an overload in the motor...
